Working big.

This summer we sailed to the Faroes, we had been there last summer too and met some lovely families through 'workaways' where you volunteer some time to help people with jobs and in return you are fed and learn something of the place and people.

Last year we helped gather and clip sheep, painted a chicken shed and built rabbit hutches.

This year out task was much bigger.

We were to decorate a huge grain silo on a dairy farm.

It was a much larger scale than anything I have done before, with unfamiliar paints and a limited time scale but, I was so well fed by Regin and Olivia and spending time around their busy farm and family was a privilege

Spectacular scenery, friendly people and the best assortment of turf roof houses and sheds you could wish for.
